Jr Data Warehouse / ETL Tester - QA Analyst

Contract
Responsibilities -
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans for data pipelines and integrations involving Snowflake, DBT, Acceldata and Salesforce
Work closely with developers to ensure that software components integrate seamlessly with Snowflake, DBT and Acceldata
Create and maintain test cases covering various scenarios, including data validation, transformation logic, data quality rules, and performance testing
Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks for data pipelines and integrations
Collaborate with data engineers to identify and resolve data quality issues
Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and provide detailed bug reports
Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies
Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, technologies, and best practices
Qualifications -
1-2 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on data quality assurance
Hands-on experience testing data pipelines and integrations involving Snowflake, DBT and Stored Procedures
Strong understanding of data warehousing, relational database concepts, ETL processes, and data quality principles
Proficiency in SQL and experience with data analysis tools
Proficiency in data analysis
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
Familiarity with Sales & Marketing, Finance, Contract and Customer Service
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bonus -
Experience with performance testing and optimization of data pipelines
Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Compensation:
The estimated pay range for this position is USD $30.00/hr - $34.00/hr and is a Non-Exempt role.
